OKLAHOMA CITY - The first families seeking H1N1 vaccinations lined up at 5:30 a.m. today outside Oklahoma City Community College.

By the time immunizations started at 9 a.m., thousands were lined up in the early chill, wrapped in coats and blankets.

The Oklahoma City-County Health Department is offering free shots and nasal spray vaccinations to pregnant women and children ages 4 to 18. As more doses come into the state over the next weeks, additional groups will be offered immunizations against H1N1, also called swine flu.

The clinic is planned to last until 6 p.m., but likely will end early as the 4,000 doses are depleted. The clinic was planned to coincide with fall break at many Oklahoma County schools.
