Season record: 23-9 overall, 13-3 in Mid-American Conference

Best wins: The Golden Flashes picked up decent nonconference victories, the most significant being a home win against UAB (72-65). It also beat Wofford (73-66) and Morehead State (63-57) this season.

Worst losses: Kent had four questionable losses, the biggest ones coming in MAC play. The Golden Flashes fell to Buffalo (70-55), Miami (Ohio) (55-53, OT) and Bowling Green (76-70).

Top players: Kent's leading scorer is F Justin Greene (6-foot-8, 13.7 ppg). G Chris Singletary (6-4, 12.0) is an All-MAC first-team player, and Rodriquez Sherman (6-2, 10.7 ppg) also is a scorer. Singletary has 115 assists, while Sherman has 99.
