Health fair planned at OSU-Tulsa

Oklahoma State University-Tulsa will be the host of a free health fair Thursday.

The health fair, "Fit for OSU, Fit for Tulsa," is scheduled for 3-7 p.m. in the Main Commons at OSU-Tulsa, 700 N. Greenwood Ave.

It is geared toward better health through education and prevention.

The fair will offer free vision and dental screenings, glucose testing, diabetic foot exams, osteopathic manipulative treatment and physical assessments for balance, body mass index, body fat, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility.

OSU faculty and staff members will provide information on healthy living and wellness activities.

Businesses will offer product demonstrations and information on health-related products and services.

Visitors also can sample healthy foods provided by local restaurants, sign up for door prizes and tour the OSU Mobile Telemedicine Clinic.
