Two people are in custody after a pharmacy robbery and home invasion, police reported Sunday.

Two robbers, armed with a pistol, stole drugs and money from the Walgreens at 7111 S. Lewis Ave. at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police allege that Aaron Henderson, 26, fled the store and entered an apartment at 7110 S. Atlanta Ave., where he tried to force some of its occupants into the trunk of their car.

Henderson fled when officers confronted him at the apartments and was captured at 73rd Street and Atlanta, police said.

Henderson remained in the Tulsa Jail late Sunday on four complaints of armed robbery, two complaints of kidnapping and one complaint each of first-degree burglary and possession of a firearm.

He had two felony warrants and four misdemeanor warrants. His bond is nearly $500,000, records show.

Police also arrested a juvenile, whose name was not released, about noon Sunday after a chase on foot.

The youth, 17, was still being interviewed, but he will be booked on a complaint of armed robbery at least, police said.

The juvenile was seen by a resident in the Southern Hills area.

Sgt. Doug Brown saw the youth, who was carrying a pistol, in the 5700 block of East 56th Street. Brown fired a shot, and the youth dropped his gun, the police report said.

Another officer soon caught up with the youth and took him into custody, police said.
