WAGONER - The Republican Party better come through if American voters give it another chance in November, U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn said Friday.
"If the conservatives in Congress gain control and don't live up to the expectations of the American people, the Republican Party will be dead," Coburn told about 65 people at the Wagoner Civic Center.
Coburn has in the past said his party deserved to lose the majority in Congress four years ago because of the deficits incurred while the GOP was in control.
