People who attack Sarah Palin ("Palin? Nope," Sept. 15) very seldom do so on the issues, her political views or her qualifications. It's always personal attacks on her and her family.
If your criteria for choosing leaders are a hairdo you like or the fact they have a perfect family and use mannerisms you approve of, then we're in deep trouble.
Maybe that is why we're in the mess we are today, because people voted for candidates because of the way they walked, talked or looked rather than on their ability to do the job.
Sarah Palin may not be the best candidate for political office but she is authentic and does not pretend to be someone she's not or hide her family from the public. She speaks her mind and doesn't appear to be telling you what you want to hear. I personally admire her for that.
Research the issues and qualifications of candidates and vote accordingly and cease the personal attacks. It's not very becoming.
If Sarah Palin chooses to run for president, will I give her serious consideration? You betcha.
