OSU wine affair aids scholarships

The Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its annual Vintage O-State Wine Tasting and Scholarship Fundraiser.
The wine tasting and silent auction is set from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at OSU-Tulsa.
Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will benefit Tulsa-area high school students planning to attend OSU.
"Our chapter is committed to promoting Oklahoma State University in Green Country and fulfilling the dreams of students who seek a quality education," says Ken Smith, '65, president of the Tulsa OSU Alumni Chapter.
Over the past 13 years, the chapter has given more than $200,000 in scholarships, including $27,000 raised at last year's event that supported 14 student scholarships.
Tina Parkhill is president-elect and event chairwoman.
OSU-Tulsa and the OSU Alumni Association are presenting sponsors of this year's event.
Other sponsors are the Bama Cos., Fleming's Prime Steak House and Republic National Distributing Co.

Corporate sponsorships are available from $1,500 to $2,500. Sponsorships for individuals and couples are also available for $250 or $500. All sponsorships include a program listing and event tickets.
Individual tickets are available for $65 for OSU Alumni Association members and $75 per person for nonmembers. Each ticket includes a Vintage O-State commemorative wine glass.
