The defensive back had two interceptions, including one he returned 25 yards for a touchdown, as Beggs defeated Verdigris 55-24 to advance to the state quarterfinals. A junior, Eggleston has 10 interceptions this year. As a wide receiver, he caught a 24-yard TD pass against the Cardinals.
