A look at the history of Bedlam football.

2008: In the highest scoring Bedlam ever, soon-to-be Heisman winner Sam Bradford passes for 370 yards and four TDs as OU forges a controversial Big 12 South tie that puts it in the Big 12 title game and eventually the BCS championship game.2006: The Sooners survive another close one in Stillwater. The game comes down to the final play, with OU cornerback Lendy Holmes tipping a pass just past OSU receiver D'Juan Woods in the end zone as time expires.2004: OSU twice overcomes 14-point, second-half deficits, but OSU kicker Jason Ricks' 49-yard field goal to force overtime misses with 11 seconds left. OU's Adrian Peterson runs for 249 yards.

2001: Oklahoma State wins for the third time in four trips to Norman, upsetting the 28-point favorite Sooners. OSU freshman quarterback Josh Fields led two scoring drives in the final eight minutes, hitting Rashaun Woods for the game-winning 14-yard score in front of OU's Derrick Strait 2000: The top-ranked Sooners escape Stillwater with a win when Strait breaks up a pass to Marcellus Rivers on a fade route in the corner of the end zone on fourth and 12. The Sooners go on to finish the season undefeated and win the BCS title, OU's seventh national championship.1988: OSU's Barry Sanders (left) and OU's Mike Gaddis put on a show. But the game is immortalized by Brent Parker's dropped pass that could have given OSU a win.

1984: OU enters ranked second by the AP, third by UPI; OSU is ranked second by UPI and third by AP. The Sooners go ahead on a TD by Spencer Tillman (right) after a controversial call on a OSU fumble on a punt. OU fans tear down the goal posts after the win.

1983: Tim Lashar kicks a 46-yard field goal with 1:14 left as OU scores 18 points in the final 10 minutes. OU recovers bizarre line-drive onside kick during comeback.

1976: OSU scores 10 points in the final seven minutes to win. OSU's Terry Miller has 159 yards rushing as OU loses for only the second time in its last 48 games.

1972: Both schools count this game as a win. The Big Eight asked OU to forfeit three games, including Bedlam, for using ineligible players, but the NCAA never officially forced the Sooners to forfeit the games.1969: Arguably the most thrilling game in the series. After finding out earlier in the week he had won the Heisman Trophy, OU's Steve Owens runs for 261 yards on a then-NCAA record 55 carries. OSU's Hermann Eben has 12 catches for 181 yards. OU stops an OSU two-point conversion try with less than a minute left to preserve the Sooner win.

1965: OSU ends 20 years of frustration when Charles Durkee boots a 35-yard field goal with 1:41 left for the win. OSU celebrates by canceling Monday classes.

1945: A Norman crowd of more than 33,000 - believed to be the largest to witness a football game in Oklahoma - watches the Aggies claim their widest victory margin in the series. Jim Lookabaugh's squad finishes the regular season unbeaten (8-0) and advances to the Sugar Bowl, where Bob Fenimore helps the Aggies beat St. Mary's 33-13.

1933: Oklahoma State wins 13-0 and achieves a milestone - its best Bedlam record during a 10-year period. The Cowboys are 5-2-3 against OU from 1924-33. The only other time OSU has come close to that success in a 10-year period was from 1995-2004, when the Cowboys were 5-5.

1929: OSU coach Lynn Waldorf leads his team to a 7-7 tie. He goes on to become the most successful Cowboys coach in Bedlam history. In his five years, Waldorf leads OSU to an undefeated record (3-0-2) against the Sooners.

1917: A&M scores a touchdown and a safety to record its first win in the series. A crowd of 5,000 in Oklahoma City sees Earl Pritchard lead his team to a win in his first season as head coach at A&M. It's the Aggies' final game of a season in which they finish 4-5.

1904: OU's 75-point win in Guthrie is the widest victory margin for either team in the series. Only one other time in series history did a team score at least 70 points. OU won 73-12 in 1946.
