The senior quarterback accounted for 454 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns as the Hornets advanced to the Class 2A semifinals with a 48-36 win against Washington, Okla. Sherrell has thrown for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 TDs this season. As a defensive back, he had 10 tackles.
