Will future Bedlam football games change dates?

The Bedlam football game has become a Thanksgiving weekend event, but that could change in future seasons – possibly as soon as 2011.
The Big 12 Conference’s final championship game is tonight when OU faces Nebraska at 7 on ABC (KTUL-8).
In future seasons, the Big 12 will have regular season games on “Championship Weekend” in December. It’s an effort to keep the conference relevant during championship weekend. It’s possible that the annual Oklahoma State-Oklahoma could move to the first weekend in December.
