Carrie Underwood song nominated for Golden Globe

Checotah's country star Carrie Underwood has another nomination to add to her award-winning belt.
"There's a Place for Us" from the film "Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has been nominated for a Golden Globe in the 'Best Original Song - Motion Picture" category.
Underwood, along with David Hodges and Hillary Lindsey wrote the music and lyrics for the song.
Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning in Los Angeles. The awards, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will be broadcast live Jan. 16.
