OKLAHOMA CITY -- Former state Sen. Charles Ford, R-Tulsa, has been named to the Oklahoma State University-Tulsa board of trustees, Gov. Mary Fallin announced Friday.
Ford, who operates a real estate investment and construction company, served in the Senate from 1983 to 2003 and was involved in the creation of OSU-Tulsa during the late 1990s.
Ford replaces the late Betty Boyd, who died earlier this year.
