Oklahoma State University hits $750 million milestone in fundraising campaign

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State University reached a $750 million milestone last fiscal year on its way toward a $1 billion fundraising goal, the school said Monday.
Half of the money from the campaign is to go toward scholarships, with the remainder to be used for hiring and retaining faculty and improving facilities and programs.
Officials said they expect to reach their $1 billion goal by 2014.
“We are on a remarkable pace,” OSU President Burns Hargis said.
