OOLOGAH - Five head of cattle worth an estimated $19,000 were shot with arrows and killed early Tuesday at two ranches in Rogers County, Undersheriff Tom Harrison said.

Three other cows were injured in the shootings, which authorities believe occurred around daybreak at ranches near county roads EW 400 and NS 407 and Oklahoma 88, Harrison said.

The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the shootings, the undersheriff said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 918-341-3535.
