Depth at quarterback inspires confidence

Starter G.J. Kinne's backup was solidified when Kalen Henderson was reinstated and grabbed the backup quarterback spot. The coaching staff feels confident that there would be limited dropoff if the redshirt freshman was pressed into action. Henderson has drawn plenty of repetitions during camp, especially during the team's scrimmages.

Unproven receivers could cause problems

Bill Blankenship said, for the first time in days, that the majority of Tulsa's wide receivers were able to go through a workout on Sunday. There are plenty of candidates at the position to catch passes, but many are unproven outside of Thomas Roberson and Ricky Johnson.
