Backup quarterback Bryatt Alexander's 43-yard touchdown pass to Richard Mabery with 2:25 left lifted visiting Hilldale (6-1) past Fort Gibson (1-6).

"Bryatt was flushed from the pocket and could have tucked and run it for some yards, but showed great poise and made a great throw," Hilldale coach Chad Kirkhart said.

Miles Jackson's interception at the Hornet 25 sealed the win. Hilldale rallied from a 23-13 deficit without starting QB Dalton Cunningham, who led the Hornets to two late comeback wins this year. Alexander's 23-yard TD pass to Alan Carrier cut the deficit to 23-20 with 4:38 left.

"Our team fights to the end," Kirkhart said.
