Mustang Middle School teacher is under investigation

MUSTANG — A Mustang Middle School teacher is under investigation for allegedly threatening students.
District officials have confirmed they are looking into allegations that Bobbi Peery, a pre-algebra and algebra teacher at the school, told one of her classes last week that if she had a gun she'd shoot them.
It's not clear the context in which the comments were made. Some students have complained to school officials. At least one parent has had ongoing conversations with school officials and others have approached the school's principal with concerns.
Peery declined to comment and referred questions to district spokeswoman Mary Leaver, who said administrators are treating the situation as a personnel matter.
