Tulsa returns to the court following a week off with Saturday’s game against Grambling State, a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

The Golden Hurricane (2-5) is coming off an 80-70 loss at Arkansas State. Sophomore Taylor Hooker scored a career-high 23 points in the defeat, including 19 in the second half.

Tulsa will return to the Reynolds Center, where it has won two of its three home games this season.

The Hurricane’s game against Grambling starts a stretch where four of the next five outings will be played at home.

The Tigers (4-3) are coming off an impressive come-frombehind victory at Oral Roberts on Thursday night. Grambling overcame 40 turnovers to capture an 89-80 triumph.

Grambling outrebounded ORU 57-49 and held the Golden Eagles to 31.7 percent shooting.

The Tigers are led by Markisha Patterson’s 13.4 points a contest. Post player Wymeka Randle is also a force, and finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds in Thursday’s victory at the Mabee Center.
