Fashion has finally taken a snuggly cue - thanks to colder temperatures in the mornings and evenings.
With the snap of cold weather comes the resurgence of gloves, scarves and fuzzy boots.
But don't forget about hosiery and footwear. Now's the time to have fun with patterned tights, trouser socks and shapewear.
Nothing jazzes up a classic, all-black look like a pair of black sheer, polka-dot tights. Just because we're bundling up does not mean it's only appropriate to dress down.
Here are some stylish events happening in Tulsa:
Jeans can help homeless teens
For the fifth year, Aéropostale is having its "Teens for Jeans" campaign, in partnership with the nonprofit DoSomething.org to address teen homelessness.
Through Feb. 12, people are encouraged to bring in a pair of gently worn jeans - any size, any brand - to the store at Tulsa Promenade mall or Woodland Hills Mall and receive 25 percent off a pair of new jeans. Donations will be accepted with no purchase necessary. The jeans from Promenade will be donated to Tulsa's local John 3:16 mission.
"Jeans are pretty much the best piece of clothing invented ever," says Nancy Lublin, CEO of DoSomething.org. "By asking teens to clean out their closets, last year we were able to give a pair of jeans to one in every three homeless teens."
