Tulsa police arrested a man after fire investigators said a methamphetamine-related fire damaged his home Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 5600 block of North Elgin Avenue about 4:30 p.m., said Stan May, public information officer with the Tulsa Fire Department.

Firefighters quickly contained the blaze and identified meth-making ingredients in the home’s kitchen, he said.

Johnny Allen Farris, 44, is being held without bond at the Tulsa Jail on complaints first-degree arson, endeavoring to manufacture and possession of a firearm after felony convictions.
