Marvelous surprises await those attending Crossroads' inaugural Golden Gala set March 8 at the Campbell Hotel.

Nationally acclaimed jazz artist Grady Nichols will perform, and Just Catering by Orr will provide dinner. Desserts are courtesy of Ludger's Bavarian Cakery.

The evening will also feature silent auction items such as Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Ballet tickets, signed guitars from B.B. King and The Highwaymen, tickets to the 2012 MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, a sommelier wine and cheese experience in California's Napa Valley, a wine tasting at Stone Bluff Winery, a trip to Key West, Fla., and baskets filled with gift cards to local eating establishments.

Pat Fluegel is the chair of the Crossroads' Development Committee, and members include James Wineinger, Tiffany Adamson, Natalie Tuffield and Jasamine Tobie.

HoganTaylor LLP and SpringPoint Technologies are sponsors.

Proceeds from the event will allow Crossroads to sustain and expand its mission of helping mentally ill Tulsans secure gainful employment, find safe and affordable housing, return to educational programs, and reintegrate into the larger community.

Crossroads is a nonprofit United Way agency.

Individual tickets are $40 per person. For corporate sponsorship information, visit tulsaworld.com/crossroads or call 918-749-2141.
