Oral Roberts to face IPFW in Summit League Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - IPFW will play Oral Roberts in the first round of the Summit League Tournament.
The Mastodons locked up the tourney’s eighth seed with a 76-73 win at UMKC on Saturday night.
ORU clinched the No. 1 seed with a 75-71 win at IPFW on Feb. 15.
Trey McCorkle scored 28 points and Frank Gaines added 26 against UMKC as the ‘Dons broke an eight-game losing streak and eliminated the Kangaroos from postseason contention.
ORU struggled to win both regular-season meetings with the 'Dons. The Eagles trailed at halftime but pulled away in the second half to win 65-54 at the Mabee Center on Jan. 19.
The Eagles and ‘Dons will square off at 6 p.m. next Saturday as the tourney unfolds in Sioux Falls, S.D.
