Power was briefly knocked out to parts the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center Monday morning after a dump truck collided with a power pole, officials said.

Andrea Chancellor, spokeswoman for American Electric Power-Public Service Company of Oklahoma, said that sometime after 9 a.m., a dump truck collided with a pole, knocking down cable lines and jarring the electric lines enough for them to collide with each other.

The jarring caused about 400 customers to lose power in the area, she said. Power was restored about 11 a.m., she said.
