Tennis: Sooners defeat Cowgirls

Oklahoma defeated Oklahoma State, 4-3, in women's action. The match began with singles play, where the Cowgirls (10-7, 4-3 Big 12) took a quick lead in the first set at each court. However, they could not maintain the momentum, losing four of the six matches. With the Sooners (10-10, 4-3 Big 12) leading 3-0, Meghan Blevins earned a straight-set victory over Marie-Pier Huet at the No. 2 spot, giving the Cowgirls their first point of the day. But OU's Nicole Long won the deciding point in straight sets.
