BROKEN ARROW - A Broken Arrow man died Thursday morning after a natural gas tank on his pickup ruptured and caused a high-pressure gas release, police said.

Wesley Little, 45, died in the accident outside his business, CNG Oklahoma, police Maj. Mark Irwin confirmed.

Little had been working near the tank about 6:30 a.m. when the gas was released, knocking him back about 25 feet, Irwin said.

Irwin said there was no fire and no damage to the property, although the 2003 Chevrolet pickup was damaged.

CNG Oklahoma outfits vehicles to operate on compressed natural gas.
