OU moves up spring game kickoff to 1:30 p.m.

NORMAN -- Due to the threat of bad weather in the Norman area, Oklahoma will kick off its spring game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The game had originally been scheduled for 2 p.m. Stadium gates will open at noon.
The inaugural Big Boomer Barbecue will begin as scheduled at 10:30 a.m. immediately north of Memorial Stadium.

The forecast for Norman this afternoon is temperatures in the low 70s and windy, with a slight chance of rain. Greater chances of rain are forecast for later in the evening.
A tornado touched down in Norman on Friday, causing damage and minor injuries. More severe weather is expected Saturday.
