Letter to the Editor: No deal

I, too, had meant to call Cox last month when I received my bill with a $15 increase, but alas, I procrastinated. When I saw the April 2 letter ("Mad at Cox"), I knew I was too late, but I tried that day anyway. Sure enough, I was told that there was nothing they could do - no discount, period. Even after I threatened to switch to Windstream, no deal.
So those of you who got a discount, whether for a year or for six months or for one month, consider yourselves fortunate. And please think twice about writing to the editor in the future - it just might ruin it for the rest of us.
