Tulsa police are looking for a man who is accused of breaking into a man's house and beating him with a wrench.
Carl Stephen Johnson, 34, is accused of hitting the man on the head with the wrench multiple times during the Feb. 28 burglary, a court document shows.
Tulsa police named Johnson their Most Wanted fugitive of the week Tuesday. He was charged April 10 with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary.
He is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches and 160 pounds and has light brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos of a skull on his left arm and hearts and roses on his chest, police said.
Anyone with information about Johnson's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers.
A cash reward is offered for information leading to an arrest, and tipsters can be anonymous.
Johnson was in prison from 1999 to 2001 on a conviction of assault and battery on a police officer, Department of Corrections records show.
