OSU falls to Wichita State in 11 innings

WICHITA - Wichita State sophomore Dayne Parker's RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted the Shockers to a 2-1 win against Oklahoma State on Tuesday at Eck Stadium.
Oklahoma State dropped to 18-17 overall as they Cowboys mustered six hits.
Wichita State collected eight hits as Parker and freshman Mikel Mucha led the Shockers (23-17) with two hits each. Pitcher Cale Elam (4-3) got the win for the Shockers.
Wichita State's Mucha hit an RBI single to first base that scored Erik Harbutz in the sixth inning for a 1-0 lead with two outs.
Cowboy Jarrett Higgins' single up the middle scored Saulyer Saxon to tie the game, 1-1, in the eighth inning.
Wichita State is now 3-0 against Big 12 competition this season.
