The Red Dirt Rangers, Travis Kidd and other area musicians will take part in Saturday's live crawfish and music festival at Doc's Wine & Food, 3509 S. Peoria Ave.
The festival will run 12:30-9 p.m. and will feature Hurricane cocktails and beer specials.
Baker St. Pub unveils six new menu items
Six new items have been added to the menu at Baker St. Pub & Grill, 6620 S. Memorial Drive.
The new dishes include salmon and shrimp ceviche with tortilla chips, Monterey chicken flatbread pizza, fried spring rolls, blackened chicken and avocado sandwich, shrimp po' boy sandwich, and strawberry peach pound cake.
Prices range from $7.99 to $8.99.
Canebrake resort launches 2012 zip-n-sip offer
Canebrake resort, located four miles east of Wagoner off Oklahoma 51, has launched this year's zip-n-sip program.
Participants may ride the resort's 300-foot zip line, then go to the bar for a flight of beer or wine (or a sundae) noon to 4 p.m. on specified Saturdays through November.
Upcoming zip-n-sips are April 28, May 26, June 30 and July 28.
Cost is $50 per person, $35 for the zip and $15 for the sip. Reservations required: 918-485-1810.
Canebrake chef Sam Bracken also has released his spring restaurant menu. Some highlights include tortilla-crusted catfish, Colorado lamb, steak frites, smoked babyback ribs, lump crab dip and spring greens with Meyer lemon-honey dressing.
The lunch menu highlights include Oklahoma beef and Berkshire pork sliders, tilapia tacos and a lentil tart.
New faces, upcoming places in Owasso
The former Buffet City in Owasso has changed hands and now is Blue Phoenix Buffet.
It is located at 9500 N. 129th East Ave., at the 96th Street North exit off U.S. 169.
Cost for the buffet dinner Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday is $8.99, ages 4-10 $4.99; lunch buffet is $6.50, ages 4-10 $3.99.
Coming soon in the same shopping center, Waterford Plaza, is Luna de Noche Mexican Grill. No opening date could be determined.
Local Table dinners to feature Bayless recipes
Recipes from chef Rick Bayless of Frontera Grill in Chicago will be featured at chef-proprietor Tuck Curren's "dinner club" events Wednesday and Thursday at Local Table, 4329 S. Peoria Ave.
Dishes will include ceviche Yucateco, gordita inflada, pato en mole de pinon and patel de chocolate y cacahuate. Cost is $35 per person ($15 extra for wines), plus tax and gratuity.
Local Table also has scheduled a dinner Tuesday featuring Fat Cat Cellars wines. Dishes include caprese salad, tuna tartar, spicy and sticky babyback ribs and strawberry shortcake.
Cost is $25, plus tax and gratuity.

Panera selling Earth-friendly cups for benefit
In honor of Earth Day, all area Panera Bread locations this week are selling Earth-friendly reusable cups.
The 16-ounce insulated cups have a twist top and come with a straw. The cups cost $10 and will be sold through Sunday, or while supplies last.
Profits from the sale of the cups will go to Up With Trees, and each cup contains a coupon for a free tree, compliments of Up with Trees.
