Letter to the Editor: All murders 'hate'

I am writing specifically about the racial element of the April 9 article, "2 arrested in shooting spree that kills 3." I hope that the black community does not believe that these two white males represent the majority of Caucasians in Tulsa. It does not matter if this is considered a "hate crime" or not. If these men are found guilty, they should receive the death penalty.

I believe all murder is a hate crime and I do not believe there is any worse punishment than the death penalty. The media are trying to create a racial conflict and it is unfortunate because white people are standing with the black community. Those responsible for the killings are the trash of this world and should be punished under the full extent of the law.

Although I am not white, I do not believe white people ought to be profiled based on those who have commited these crimes, which are not normal in today's life.
