President Barack Obama is 100 percent in control of our current gasoline and diesel prices. The president or We the People could rid our dependence on our current alternative energy usage: oil, coal and CNG.

Famous inventor Rudolph Diesel and the American industrial entrepreneur Henry Ford knew about biomass fuels coming from plants. How long does it take oil to grow? Ford discovered that one can grow the plants and still eat their very healthy omega 3, antioxidant, calcium and protein-filled seeds without affecting the fuel source; for diesel fuel, the seeds are actually used.

If we grew our own gasoline once every four months to 10 months, how much cheaper would it be? Auto manufacturers such as BMW and Mercedes Benz also use this plant to build their cars out of, thus replacing petrol plastics with biodegradable plant plastics, which are tougher. This plant is also a good source of wood fiber and paper pulp, but why use it when 100 percent of all the tall trees in the woods and forests take less than a year to grow from seedling to tall giant?

Alas, the Drug Enforcement Administration won't let Americans grow it, though this plant was harvested by Thomas Jefferson, Ford, George Washington and millions more and is less intoxicating than ingesting or smoking one's carpet or socks, which both too could come from this plant. Obama is 100 percent responsible for the high prices in gasoline as well as letting millions of Americans not have a job from one annually grown plant.
