Gang-related shooting leaves one man dead

Police are looking for the shooter in a gang-related killing in east Tulsa early Saturday.
Jose Elizalde, 20, was shot outside the Tulsa Inn and Suites, 8201 E. Skelly Drive, about 1 a.m. by a drive-by shooter who unloaded seven rounds, police said.
Sgt. Mike Williams said Elizalde was struck once in the head and pronounced dead on the scene.
It was the third homicide in Tulsa in the last 48 hours.
According to Williams, two gangs were holding separate parties at the hotel when "they came into contact with each other and exchanged some unpleasantries."
That exchange of words led to a fistfight, and the shooting followed, Williams said.
The city's other two homicides occurred Friday.
