Letter to the Editor: Too easy?

With the increasing crime rate,
we all live in a state of fear. We think
twice about doing some of the things
we used to do or going places we used
to go. My concern with open carry (or
even concealed carry for that matter)
is that it will be too easy to react to
what we perceive as a dangerous situation
and innocent people will be killed.
None of us knows what happened
in Florida and we may never know.
But, isn’t it possible that George Zimmerman
reacted out of emotionally
charged fear based on circumstances
rather than actual fact?
And, if people are walking around
carrying guns, how are we going to
know the good guys from the bad guys?
