Golf: OU women lead Big 12, OSU in 4th

The No. 32 Oklahoma women’s team jumped to first place after shooting a second-round 292 (12-over) at the Big 12 Championship in Lawrence Kan. Oklahoma State sits in fourth, eight shots behind OU.

OU, which entered in fourth place, turned in the lowest score of the second round and holds a fiveshot lead over second-place Iowa State.

OU sophomore Chirapat Jao-Javanil continues to lead the field after recording a team-best 70. Fellow sophomore Anne-Catherine Tanguay moved up one spot to third place, three shots behind Jao-Javanil after a 2-over 72 brought her two-round total to 148 (8-over).
