Jared Schlehuber had five hits and seven RBIs to help Oral Roberts University to 9-3 and 7-6 victories over South Dakota State University on Saturday in Brookings, S.D.
ORU (24-19, 11-3 Summit League) has now won seven straight Summit League games. SDSU fell to 13-27 and 2-9.
ORU used a six-run fifth inning in the opening-game victory.
Kurt Giller (4-4) allowed just one run in six innings while striking out six.
In the second game, a two-out single by Domenico in the seventh gave ORU a one-run victory.
The base hit made a winner out of Joe Spring (3-1), who tossed 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
Oklahoma State 3, Kansas State 3: In Manhattan, Kan., Oklahoma State clinched its first conference road series win of the season.
The win was the seventh in a row for the Cowboys, their longest win streak of the year, as they improved to 25-17 overall and 10-7 in Big 12 play.
Seven players collected RBIs for OSU as the Cowboys' 13 runs was the most they've scored in a Big 12 game this season, besting their previous high of 11 against Kansas. Randy McCurry led the attack with three RBIs, while Jarrett Higgins and Jared Womack added two apiece.
Chase Stevens (5-4) worked the final 6 1/3 innings and did not allow a run. The junior right-hander struck out six and allowed just three hits.
Oklahoma 8, Kansas 2: In Lawrence, Kan., Oklahoma starting pitcher Jonathan Gray held Kansas to one run on four hits while center-fielder Max White collected two hits and five RBIs as the 23rd-ranked Sooners (28-16, 9-8 Big 12) used a pair of big innings to take down the Jayhawks.
Gray struck out six and walked four over 6 1/3 innings.
White staked the visitors to a 3-1 lead in the fifth inning with a three-run homer to right field off Kansas starting pitcher Wes Benjamin. In the ninth, White helped break the game open with a two-run single to center field with two outs.
