Ann E. Briley, 84, of Tulsa died Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was born January 20, 1928 in Tulsa to Jesse William and Pearle (Hulsey) Allen. Ann graduated from Central High School in 1946 and attended college at Kansas University where she was a member of the Sigma Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She married James E. Briley, Jr. on November 25, 1949. He preceded her in death in 2003. Ann was a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church; Daughter’s of the American Revolution where she volunteered in the Veteran’s Program at Claremore VA Hospital; and Daughter’s of the Confederacy. She was also a Troop Organizer for Girl Scout’s of America in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. She is survived by 2 sons, Jeb Briley (Mary) of Coweta and Patrick Briley of Cocoa Beach, FL; and a brother William Allen of Coweta. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Memorial service will he held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 2, 2012, at the Rose Chapel of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
