Missing Bixby boy found safe

A 4-year-old Bixby boy with special needs who went missing from his home Wednesday morning has been found, police said.
Triston Michael Charles had last been seen about 6 a.m. in the area of the 14500 block of East 202nd Street South, according to a release from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, which assisted with the search.
The boy had been found by 1:45 p.m., Bixby police said.
Charles, who has trouble communicating with speech, had last been seen about 6 a.m. when his mother got up and saw him sleeping in his bed, authorities said.
At 9:30 a.m., the mother noticed the child was missing and called police.
The family dog-a blonde shepherd mix-and a box of fruit snacks were also missing.
OHP, Bixby police and fire, Glenpool police, the Tulsa County and Wagoner County sheriff's offices assisted with the search.
