While you may never predict how a career is going to end, you can certainly look back at it and reflect. Dave Wooden took over as the Broken Arrow city manager in 2009, and prior to that served in various capacities for the city.

His conservative nature allowed the city to weather the economic downturn without major disruptions. He stood tall during times of dissension, yet he never quashed healthy discussion with employees. He listened, took note and led.

After serving 24 years with the city, Dave has earned some accolades. The Broken Arrow Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 170 wants him to know that we thank him for his service and dedication to the citizens of Broken Arrow and its employees.

Editor's note: Cooper is president of FOP Lodge 170.
