Robert “Bob” Park and Katie
Park of Sperry will celebrate
their 70th wedding anniversary
May 9, 2012. They will be
honored with a reception at 1
p.m. May 13, 2012, at their
home in Sperry. The event will
be hosted by their children.
The couple married May 9,
1942, in Claremore. They have
three children: Lana Clark and
husband Dick, Karol Akin, and
Robert Park and wife Tonya, all
of Sperry. They have seven
grandchildren: Lisa
Hagemeister and husband
Kirby, Tracey Juby and
husband Mike, Richard Akin
and wife Tracey, Madison Juby,
and Levi Juby, all of Sperry; and
Duncan Akin of Skiatook. They
have six great-grandchildren:
Jagger Park, Cooper Park,
Louden Akin, and Lakelee Akin,
all of Sperry; Acey Akin of Sand
Springs; and Kit Clark and wife
Liz and Jacob Clark, all of
Memphis, Tenn.
Bob Park retired May 1982
after 27 years with Sperry
Vickers-Tulsa. Katie Park is a
homemaker.
