Saks Fifth Avenue has a slew of upcoming events.

Now through Saturday is the Utica Square luxury department store's annual Spring Fragrance Week.

One highlight is the Chanel "Joie de Vivre" event 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Shoppers can discover the line's creations for shimmer and shine, as well as skin care and captivating scents.

Also, the Bobbi Brown "runway" event will be Thursday through May 16. Whether you're creating new makeup looks or just tweaking your regular beauty routine, experts at the Bobbi Brown counter will be teaching how to update your beauty look with a few key designer runway looks. Look for the season's key runways trends while you're there: smoky eyes, flushed cheeks and uber-polished lips.

On Saturday, local artist Connie Deen will be engraving new purchases of fragrances - specifically, names and dates or short, sweet messages engraved on bottles.

Meanwhile, David Lee Holland, an exquisite jewelry designer from New York whose pieces reflect the beauty of nature in gleaming gold and dazzling gemstones, will make a personal appearance at the store 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

From the veining in a laurel leaf and the asymmetry of an oak twig to the delicate fluting of an orchid, Holland's natural wonders are transformed into 18-karat gold wearable sculptures.

Then, from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Saks will present the David Yurman "New York Stories" trunk show and brunch. Those requesting an invitation to the event can view his latest collections, as well as a light brunch and presentation of the new collections while you shop. This special trunk show event will include exclusive pieces that will only be here for a short time.

For more these events, including RSVPs for the Yurman brunch, call Saks, 918-744-0200.
