Cherokee chief to attend Pocahontas Club picnic

OOLOGAH -- Bill John Baker, principal chief of the Cherokee Nation, will be a special guest of the Pocahontas Club at its annual picnic May 19.
Open to the public, the event will start at 11 a.m. at Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch at 9501 E. 380 Road in Oologah.
