Softball: Red Raiders defeat Cowgirls

Oklahoma State pitcher Kat Espinosa gave up just one earned run, but an unearned run proved costly as the Cowgirls (25-22 overall, 8-13 Big 12) fell to No. 24 Texas Tech, 2-1, in Lubbock, Texas. Espinosa scattered three hits while walking three and striking out two. But she found herself down 2-0 after two innings. The Cowgirls responded with a run in the fifth. Shelby Davis singled. With one out, Tamara Brown walked. One out later, Chelsea Garcia drove in Davis with a single through the hole into left field.
