COLLINSVILLE - A Collinsville man is in custody following a weekend stabbing in Rogers County, authorities said.
Tayler Alton Hunt, 29, was jailed on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon Saturday, said Deputy Jerry Smittle of the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 9:47 Saturday, deputies responded to a call that a group of people who seemed to be intoxicated were screaming in the road in the 15920 block of East 151st Street North. Deputies found two men, one of whom had several stab wounds that appeared to be deep, Smittle said.
The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was hospitalized at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Smittle said.
Hunt was arrested, and a utility knife was recovered. His bail was set at $100,000, Smittle said.
