A man was arrested late Wednesday on allegations that he stabbed another man three times in a fight over a woman, Tulsa police said.

Troy Cox Hofrichter, 29, of Broken Arrow is accused of stabbing the man twice in the chest and once in the arm at the man's house in the 1700 block of South 110th East Avenue, police said.

The man had just returned from a night out with his girlfriend and was sitting with her in a pickup in the garage when he was attacked, apparently out of jealousy, police said.

The fight spilled into the front yard, but the men were not fighting when officers arrived about 11:45 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to St. John Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said he was living at the house with his girlfriend and her mother.

Hofrichter was booked into the Tulsa Jail on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon. His bail is set at $25,000.
