OU offense flat as TCU takes win

Oklahoma didn't get a hit until the eighth inning and managed just three singles overall as it fell to TCU 1-0 on Tuesday night in Norman.

The Sooners (33-20) wasted a strong outing by sophomore starting pitcher Dillon Overton (5-3), who allowed just six hits and no earned runs in nine innings. He struck out five and walked none.

Jason Coats drove in the only run of the game for TCU (33-16) with a one-out RBI double in the top of the first.

Dallas Baptist 7, OSU 4: In Dallas, the Cowboys saw a three-game winning streak end as they lost their final nonconference game of the regular season.

The Cowboys (32-20) fell behind early as the Patriots scored two runs in each of the first two innings against Jack Abbott.
