Q&A with Catoosa's Austin Potter

This fall, Austin Potter will be Catoosa's starting quarterback for a third season. He has consistently improved during his career and threw for almost 1,000 yards as a junior.
What are your summer plans?
I'm going to be working out at team camps. Basically all summer football.
You also play baseball. Which sport is your favorite?
I like both, playing quarterback and pitcher.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History
What do you want to study in college?
Probably engineering. I want to be an engineer.
You must be pretty smart.
I can be sometimes, when I want to be.
Who is your favorite athlete?
I like Peyton Manning.
Which movies are your favorites?
"Mission: Impossible 4" and "Fast Five"
What TV show do you watch the most?
"Nitro Circus"
Who is your favorite musical artist?
Jason Aldean
What is something about you people may not know?
I drink a bottle of Coca-Cola before every game. I do it before baseball, also.
How long have you been doing that?
Since eighth grade. I don't know why.
What has been your best memory in high school so far?
Probably last season, being able to go so far and taking a step forward from the year before that. We're looking forward to taking it further this year.
