Fallin names 9 to state War Veterans Commission

OKLAHOMA CITY - Gov. Mary Fallin has announced nine appointees to serve on the new War Veterans Commission.
Fallin said Friday the nominees are Wes Benge, Dr. Curtis Bohlman, Tommy Howell, Robert Keister, Darrell McGee, Rich Putnam, Jerry G. Riley, Tom Sellers and Don Wadley.
The War Veterans Commission is the controlling board of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. It administers veterans' programs in the state.
Bohlman, Howell, Keister, McGee, Putnam, Riley and Sellers are Vietnam War veterans. Benge and Wadley are U.S. Army veterans.
The Oklahoma Senate must confirm the nominations.
