Two men were threatened with shotguns about 30 minutes apart late Monday, Tulsa police said.
Three men, including one with a shotgun, demanded money and a cell phone from a man who was smoking a cigarette about 11:30 p.m. at Silver Creek Apartments, 10710 E. 41st St., police said. The man said he did not have money and that his cell phone was broken, and the assailants fled empty-handed.
Multiple men in a car also flashed a shotgun as they took a cell phone from a man walking at 3732 S. 91st E. Ave. about midnight, police said.
Neither victim was hurt.
The robbers are described as black and about 6 feet tall and were wearing dark clothing, police said. The car is described as a newer cream-colored sedan.
Anyone with information about the robbers is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers. Tipsters can be anonymous and a reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
